Material: Hastelloy C22

Hastelloy C22 (brandname INCONEL®/INCOLOY® or HASTELLOY®/HAYNES®) is made of molybdenum, nickel, chromium and tungsten. This alloy can withstand very high temperatures and is corrosion resistant. Without any problems, Hastelloy C22 can come into direct contact with:

  • Chemicals and chlorine
  • Pesticides
  • Seawater
  • Wastewater

Applications of Hastelloy C22

Pharmaceutical manufacturers use pipes and boilers of Hastelloy C22 to prevent corrosion to interfere with medication. Also in the petrochemical industry Hastelloy C22 has found it't way.
